SociAbilities February
Classes currently are held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Classes are divided by age and interest.
In the month of February we will continue with skills that include sharing information, expressing ideas, feelings and thoughts. We will practice conversation skills that include facing the speaker and being able to ask and answer questions while staying on topic.
The children are enjoying learning about Michelle Garcia Winner’s”Social Thinking” thinkables and unthinkables with weekly cards that express different types of personality traits and behavior. We have a few more weeks of learning about these fun characters.
We will discuss kindness and what it means to people we interact with. The younger groups will exchange valentine cards and or treats and all groups will decorate heart cookies.
