Sharon Glickman M. A.

Sharon has an Elementary Teaching Credential and a Master’s degree in Special Education with an emphasis in communication delays.

Sharon has 45 years as an educator. Work experience includes 20 years in Las Virgenes School district and 20 years of owning SociAbilities, helping families navigate schools and support of children is her passion.

Sharon has worked with infant through high school aged children. Her experience includes a wide diversity of challenges including deaf and hard of hearing, blind, cerebral palsy, Spectrum disorders, ADHD, bipolar disorder, genetic conditions and a range of communication delays.

Sharon is experienced in several modalities used to enhance learning of her students including Pivotal Response, ABA training, Greenspan’s Floor time, PECS (Picture Communication system), American Sign Language, “Social Thinking” (Michelle Garcia Winner) and a parent facilitator of Love and Logic. Sharon is a passionate educator who loves working with families and embraces the challenges of all her students.
