March News
In March, we will concentrate on “Commnication Skills”.
Communication is an essential social skills that enables children to make and effectively respond to statements. We will talk about verbal and non verbal communication. The social skills groups have been working during play while practicing cooperation skills. They have been sharing and helping out with creative play .During play we have been practicing conflict resolution habits by learning to recognize emotions, source of the problem and brainstorm solutions.
Traditionally we celebrate the week of the March 17th with either Green food activities or Rainbow food activities. This year we will have a potluck snack with children bringing a fruit or veggie from the colors of the rainbow. There will be a sign up sheet for each group starting this week. We also have several fun science and art projects planned
Reminders that payment are late after the 5th of the month. It has been increasingly more difficult to get timely payment . This month the late fee of $25 will be added for each week your payment is late. I hate to enforce this.
